Un-American Jesus

We should ask ourselves, what was Jesus’ intention? As humans, did we really embrace and live by his high-heart teachings? Do I really love, honor and serve Jesus by my thoughts and actions everyday? I should qualify my answer by stating: I am not a Christian because I love Christ uncompromisingly; for the same reason I am NOT a Buddhist because I am deeply in love with the Buddha. True Love and Knowledge is gained from direct experience, everything else is hearsay (heresy?).

It’s time to separate the wheat from the chaff, the politics and dogmas of life are the obstacle to experiencing unity consciousness and universal love. If you have love in your heart, just LOVE with all your heart. If you have peace within you, be PEACE. Manifest all that is within you and share it with the world. That is the way and the truth and the life: remembering (re-membering as in re-joining) who you really are…

Isn’t that what Jesus really wanted us to experience for ourselves? Let’s follow Lord Jesus’ example and Love ONE another. *PEACE*

Love for Enemies

“But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also. Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back. Do to others as you would like them to do to you.

If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners…

  1. Perfectly put! Un-American Jesus indeed.
I was just watching the movie “Paul” about a friendly alien with a healing touch stranded in the Midwest and trying to get back home with the help of the British nerds, despite various types trying to harm him, and I was forcefully reminded of this.
Perhaps one day people will learn… Love to all.

  2. Let fall all the walls in our minds and see them crumbing out there. It is such a relief to finally let go of all judgement, prejudice, preferences… Not that they don’t come knocking at my door all the time, but I see them for what they are relatively quickly – errant thoughts – and then they lose their grip on me. Love is a mysterious force, but definitely does the job! Thanks for posting this ~

  3. Hi 1 earth
Question who it is that one is serving by feeling the answer, If one is lighter for it or the heavier . If its heavy then Ego is your master, if it is light then there is no question to answer.

The Principle of Jesus is removing the Beam from ones own eye through forgiveness and non judgement. The principle of the Buddha is removing the stance that which creates obstacle as in Ganesh and Karma. They are the same.

This is the process for which time was created, It takes time to grow.

When all is removed there is the full emptiness of Love, the cosmological constant of Einstein the vast of the Vedas, God, Krishna. Empty space filled jam packed full ,The method by which Consciousness expands. Love.

When there is no use for the material universe in this process their will be time no more.

  4. Great post. “Do unto other as you would have them do unto you”. If this was the only line in the entire Bible that was actually adhered to what a different place the world would be. And yet for the most part people can’t even do this simple act of empathy and common decency.

Treat others as you would like to be treated, it’s so simple. I wish that was the part of Christ’s message that caught on, and not Constantine’s version of the Church and the Gospels that we’ve basically had ever since.

You should check out the Gospel of Thomas if you have’t read it already. It can be found for free online, it’s very cool 🙂

    All the best!

    • Hi Sofia, this must be one of our serendipitous moments! For some reason I had Jesus on my mind and suddenly came across several interesting blogs which feature a Unitarian theme, combining east and west spirituality. What a blessing and abundance of riches! Check out:
