Help raise the minimum wage, fight poverty!

More than 3 million hard working New Yorkers who have jobs are living in poverty right now.

The reason? A grossly inadequate minimum wage. It needs to be raised, now.

On the ground today in Syracuse, we joined with fast food workers and union partners to demand a higher minimum wage, indexed to inflation, with rules allowing localities to raise it up to 30% higher.

Albany needs to hear from voters around the state that we all want to raise the wage. Click here to send your message to your representatives in Albany right now!

This is a big deal for working families in New York. It’s about quality of life. No one who works should have to struggle to put food on the table.

And it’ll also help our state’s economy. When workers get paid more, they can buy more from local businesses. Everyone wins.

As long as New York stays number one in inequality, we’ll never have an economy that works for everyone.

It’s time to lift up working families in New York by raising the wage. Click here to tell your legislators to raise the wage, index it to inflation, and let local communities create a higher local wage.

Thank you for fighting for a New York that works for all of us,
