This Forest in The Desert Could Solve the Planet’s Food Shortage Problem

Very informative ideas!

For years, we’ve considered desert areas in only one light: That of a barren, inhospitable wasteland that could provide no food, water or shelter for the world’s human population.

Fur is not a fashion statement

There’s a new petition taking off on, and we think you might be interested in signing it.

Help LION Ban Fur at FIT

Long Island Orchestrating for Nature (LION)

The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is an internationally recongnized college for design, fashion, art, communications, and business. After reaching out to the school, it has become evident that FIT allows professors to assign projects that involve the use of fur. This petition is asking school officials to adopt a policy that bans the use of fur in the classroom.

Fur has a long history of being considered a luxury item, but over the past few decades animal rights groups have managed to change that, making fur more and more unpopular. Why? Because fur is cruel. It typically comes from animals who are raised on factory fur farms. They are often starved and deprived of basic needs. Once reaching the right size, they are then electrocuted. This agonizing slaughter method is frequently used to limit damage to the fur. From there they are then skinned. The fur is then sold and used in a variety of ways.

This must stop! U.S. Navy wargames to kill hundreds of whales, dolphins

These military exercises are totally unacceptable, their callous disregard for nature and marine wildlife is atrocious. I am voicing my concerns to congress via petitions:

Fukushima has already poisoned the Pacific, must we kill off the rest with sonar and harmful military operations?

Outrageous! This must stop!

The Natural Resources Defense Council is suing the US government for allowing the Navy to train off the California coast, imperiling vast amounts of marine life. High intensity sonar used by ships and submarines frequently result in the deaths of dolphins, whales, and many endangered animals, yet the armed forces have been granted vast authority in how they train.

Many dolphins and whales get beached with painfully burst auditory canals! Disruptions of behavior, disorientation, abandoning of feeding of their young and death are also the result!

As usual, US Army/Navy turn the blind eye and deaf ear on the carnage their wargames leave behind!

Alice thank you for revealing our government’s dirty “little” secret about the medical industrial complex which has everything to do with greed and profit, true healing being a distant afterthought. As if the allopathic system of medicine was bad enough, these days physicians don’t even abide by their hippocratic oath. It’s no wonder true healers like yourself must morally, ethically leave the profession you so dearly love. The system has changed and is rigged in favor of corporations and big money interests. I sense revolution on the horizon…
