♪Possession(s) & the possessed – Music Themes
Why is it that when we desire to possess something, it somehow possesses us? From my experience, on some primal level, it comes down to fear and trust. Fearing that we are not enough or not taken care of, becomes our mind mantra. We will consume everything to fill that void- useless toys, food, sex, love, drugs, science, technology, knowledge, religion, stories- the endless void. Soon we realize the external world does not fulfill and so we hunger for that spiritual illusion. Why this separation, this fundamental need for reconnection? What is this trust or faith… our Christmas present?
