This week I’ve selected “Shadowside” as our theme. What’s to say about our shadowside? I believe it is an intrinsic part of our perceived “self”. Like the eastern philosophy of Yin/ Yang, opposing aspects comprise the whole, the seed of the “other” lies within each. This is the pulse of life, gives meaning to existence, and helps us to understand our true nature. For me, it’s an important reminder of who “i” really am. Feeling and intuition are beyond words, so here we go!
I can only describe this piece as “melancholy wisdom”, a solemn dance, communion of souls.

Anneleen Lenaerts plays Danse sacrée et danse profane by Debussy
Shadows symbolize darkness that lies beneath, but ultimately are illusory. Experiment, play with it, our shadowside can never hurt us, indeed it is part of our beingness. Embrace the mystery and do not be afraid! ❤
