Fascinating stuff, no doubt some pharmaceutical company created it with plenty of government funding. Gotta keep that war on drugs going, we got prisons to fill, cops and lawyers to hire, guns to buy!

Tales from the Conspiratum

“New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu spoke at a press conference this week, warning that a drug that’s 10,000 times stronger than morphine has made its way into the state. As a result, many first responders have been left scrambling to find a way to handle this new threat.

You may have seen these charts before, but they tell the story of a middle class in decline.

For any system to endure, it must maintain a built-in capacity to self-correct: that is, it must generate accurate informational feedback about dangerous asymmetries and auto-correct with behavioral feedback.

This is true of ecosystems and enterprises as well as political/social systems.

Human systems can lose the ability to self-correct in three basic ways.

Futurist Trendcast

Erdogan’s message is (as I long predicted): Turkey’s direction is to distance itself from the US and EU and get closer to Russia.

On May 2, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has visited Sochi to meet with Vladimir Putin. The date was agreed upon two months prior, after…
