WATCH: Hillary Clinton vows to “strengthen” Russia (and more!)

Turn on any cable news channel, and Russia is all the mainstream media can talk about. Every liberal outlet has spent months on breathless coverage on what President Donald Trump calls a historic witchhunt.

So where was the mainstream media outrage when former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was promising to “strengthen” Russia… just one year their hackers had meddled in the 2008 presidential election?

In a 2010 interview for Russian television, Hillary was asked, “What is being done to make it easier for Americans to come to Russia, and for Russians to visit America?”

Imagine if Trump gave this response —

Well, we want to encourage a lot more travel, and a lot more exchanges. And as we move forward and we get more experience between our two countries and facilitate business travel, tourism travel, education travel – every kind of travel – I think it will become, at least I hope, easier and easier.

Many of our businesses want to have their business leaders come and have open ended visas… and, similarly, a lot of Russians want to come [to the U.S.] and have as much time as they need. That’s what I would like to work for.

We want very much to have a strong Russia, because a strong, confident, prosperous, and stable Russia, we think, is in the interest of the world.

“One of the fears that I hear from Russia is that somehow the United States wants Russia to be weak,” Clinton added, according to The Daily Wire. “That could not be farther from the truth. Our goal is to help strengthen Russia.”

Imagine the utter chaos if Trump said the same thing?

There would be riots in the streets. News commentators would be screaming at the top of their lungs!

But when Hillary says that one of the goals of former President Barack Obama’s administration is to “strengthen” Russia, where was the outrage? There was none.

It should be noted, this interview occurred during the controversial Uranium One deal, where Russia was purchasing control of 20% of the United States strategic uranium supply – a deal signed off on by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton Foundation was also receiving multimillion dollar donations by the Russian government and oligarchs during this exchange.

In a 2010 interview on Russian television, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the Obama administration wanted travel and business to increase between Russia and America and that the Obama administration wanted to “help strengthen Russia.”

Just two years later, former President Barack Obama was caught in an embarrassing hot mic incident communicating a secret message to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin that he wanted cooperation leading into the 2012 election.

Extremely RUDE AMERICAN ‘journalist’ keeps interrupting Putin, not letting him say a word + MY INSIDE RUSSIAN INTEL! #Helsinki2018

Fresh Russian intel!

By inside accounts of top Russian journalists present, during joint Trump-Putin press conference, American journalists were very pushy, dismissive and aggressive. For example, they would refuse to give up microphone after their question, and would keep asking more questions for 5 minutes at a time, at the expense of Russian journalists present.

ALL American journalists’ questions WERE ABOUT THE PAST, mainly centering around the 2016 ‘Russian meddling.’

As I was saying in response to a McCain-Hillary troll (yes, not kidding): sad day for America, sad day. See the whole exchange HERE.

♪Sonya Yoncheva – Lascia ch’io pianga –

Rinaldo, HWV 7, Act II, Scene 4: Lascia ch’io pianga

Another great rendition:

“Lascia ch’io pianga” is an Italian-language soprano aria by composer George Frideric Handel which has become a popular concert piece. Three years later, Handel re-cycled the melody and used it for an aria for the character Piacere in the second part of his 1707 oratorio Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno (also entitled El tronfo del Tempo e della Verità. This version of the aria is entitled, “Lascia la spina”.[2] Chrysander’s score for this aria can be seen on page 76 of Vol. 24. The text and lyrics for this version of the aria are as follows: Lascia la spina, cogli la rosa; tu vai cercando il tuo dolor. Canuta brina per mano ascosa, giungerà quando nol crede il cuor. Leave the thorn, take the rose; you go searching for your pain. Gray frost by hidden hand will come when you heart doesn’t expect it. In 1711, Handel recycled the music yet again, this time for his 1711 London opera Rinaldo, using a new text (see below) and giving the aria to the character Almirena (portrayed by soprano Isabella Girardeau in the opera’s premiere) in act 2. Rinaldo was a major triumph for Handel, and it is with this work that the aria is chiefly associated. Handel’s 1739 pasticcio Giove in Argo also features a shorter and lesser known “Lascia la spina”. Lascia ch’io pianga mia cruda sorte, e che sospiri la libertà. Il duolo infranga queste ritorte de’ miei martiri sol per pietà.
