17 hours agoI’m sure the other driver has been ” compensated” for his troubles, any body cam , traffic cam and security footage is gone, any test results were tainted. The cops involved will receive promotions and it will be like it didn’t happen!

  1. I disagree it’s parody and certainly not cute. Celebs and public figures are open to ribbing but ribbing does nor have nasty undertones. Yes Jills blog has partisan toons but based on facts with context intact. JILL has never tried to use Republican innuendo and lies to bring down someone like Mr Fauci who has devoted himself to the public good.

    • Dear David,

      From Wikipedia:
A parody, also called a spoof, a satire, a send-up, a take-off, a lampoon, a play on (something), or a caricature, is a creative work designed to imitate, comment on, and/or make fun of its subject by means of satiric or ironic imitation. Often its subject is an original work or some aspect of it — theme/content, author, style, etc. But a parody can also be about a real-life person (e.g. a politician), event, or movement (e.g. the French Revolution or 1960s counterculture). Literary scholar Professor Simon Dentith defines parody as “any cultural practice which provides a relatively polemical allusive imitation of another cultural production or practice”.[1] The literary theorist Linda Hutcheon said “parody … is imitation, not always at the expense of the parodied text.” Parody may be found in art or culture, including literature, music, theater, television and film, animation, and gaming. Some parody is practiced in theater.

Like music, humour is subjective, i guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. Have a nice weekend 🙂

  2. Still pandering to your Republican friends I see while trying to tarnish the reputation of a good woman.A pity you don’t try and do the same with all the slime balls and sex traffickers they have to offer. Save the country before it goes to the dogs and INSURRECTIONISTS.

    • Lighten up David, it’s a cute parody. Politicians, like celebrities are public figures and as such are not above a bit of ribbing from the general public.
Besides, have you visited Jill’s blog? Plenty of politically partisan toons to stimulate a good chuckle, i don’t think ur offended over those are u? 😉
