Victory Day, May the 9th is close and to commemorate it, I translated an article by Georgij Zotov from Argumenty i Facty of 2013, with some additional commentary from me. Despite it being 6 years old, it is even more current than it was back then.

In 2015 I translated Georgij Zotov’s article Repentance of Berlin. After 70 years, the Germans have an unambiguous attitude towards the Soviet victory.

This year it elicited the following comment:
